EUSA Executive Committee meeting 03E-2025
Executive Committee members of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) met for their third meeting of the year as an electronic/online meeting on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
After the welcome from EUSA President Adam Roczek, updates were given by the EUSA Secretary General Matjaz Pecovnik.
In the preparation of the upcoming electoral General Assembly, after approving the minutes of the last Extraordinary General Assembly, the Executive Committee members went through and approved the agenda for the event, which will be held in Zagreb, October 9-12, as well as the candidature for the General Assembly Chair, and then the financial and activity reports of 2023 and 2024.
After the motions regarding the confirmations of Memberships and Board Memberships Fees for the years 2026-2029 were confirmed, the EC members approved the proposed calendar for the next Board Meetings and approved the candidature of Tbilisi, Georgia, as the next host for the EUSA General Assembly 2027.
Following this decision, EUSA Board approved the proposals for the next Honorary Distinctions and the list of candidates for the upcoming Electoral event next month, together with some practical matters regarding the material organisation and unfolding of the General Assembly.
The members finally confirmed 1 new university as Associated Members, pending final approval by the General Assembly later in the year. This brings a total of 118 associated universities from 23 countries. The newly joined entity will be presented ialso on EUSA official social media channels.
