The most active university award is determined by participation of individuals and teams in the European Universities Games or Championships. Each university receives points for the number of individual athletes and university teams they send to compete in EUSA events. The university/universities with the highest points at the end of the year are recognised with the most active university award.
EUSA Awards and Recognitions
European University Sports Association (EUSA) honours special achievements and contributions to university sports with special awards and recognitions, which are usually presented to the recipients at its General Assembly, at the EUSA Gala or other events.
EUSA may annually grant the following awards:
Best University
The best university is determined by the sports achievements and results in EUSA competitions. Each team taking part in team sports of the European Universities Games or Championships gets points for their university when they participate. The final ranking represents a sum of all results, and points are given to each university.
Most Active NUSA
The most active National University Sports Association is determined by participation of teams and number of participants in the European Universities Games or Championships. Additional points are given for organization of EUSA events.
Most Successful NUSA
The most successful National University Sports Association is determined by the results and final placement of the university’s athletes in the European Universities Games or Championships.
Enno Harms Fair Play
EUSA annually awards the recognition for Fair Play, taking into account the play’s gesture/ situation during the EUSA sporting events which stand out the most. Enno Harms Fair Play Award is named after the first EUSA President who was very much devoted to fair play.
