The European University Sports Association, apart from the sports competitions and other educational events, also runs independent projects, together with other partners. Volunteer programmes have been a part of EUSA events for years, with thousands of volunteers from all over Europe taking part.
European Solidarity Corps (ESE) is the new programme of the European Union, supporting volunteering and solidarity activities.
EUSA is accredited organisation in the European Voluntary Service (EVS). This programme is not being carried out any more, being replaced by the European Solidarity Corps (ESC).
