We are inviting you to join this year's 28th edition of the International Student Christmas Tournament, also known as the “Vedran Jelavic Memorial Tournament", that will take place from 4-7 December 2025 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. 

For 28 years, this unique event has been bringing together university students from across regions to compete in men’s basketball and women’s volleyball, while also celebrating friendship, culture, and the festive season. This tournament is not only about sports; it is an opportunity to meet fellow students, share experiences, and create lasting memories in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik.

The tournament is proudly organized by  Dubrovnik University Sports Association, with collaborative efforts from the Student Centre Dubrovnik, Student Union of Dubrovnik, University of Dubrovnik, and Croatian Academic Sports Federation, and it is held under the patronage of the European University Sports Association (EUSA). 

The event begins on Thursday, December 4, with the arrival of teams, a technical delegate meeting, the official tournament opening, and the first qualification matches. Friday, December 5, will be filled with exciting competition, a sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik’s iconic Old Town, a social gathering for team leaders, and a lively student party in the evening. Saturday, December 6, will feature placement matches, as well as special contests including three-pointers and dunk challenges, before culminating in the tournament closing and another festive student party. Teams will depart on Sunday, December 7, bringing home unforgettable experiences and new friendships.

Please note that the number of participants is limited, and participation is secured according to the date of deposit payment. A 20% deposit for accommodation is required by November 10, 2025, to confirm your spot.
