VOICE dissemination meeting in Vienna

European sports partners of the VOICE project on sexual harassment and abuse in sport met in Vienna, Austria on June 5 and 6, 2018. The aim of the meeting was to finalise the project dissemination strategy. EUSA is an active partner in the project and took part in the meeting as well.

European University Sports Association (EUSA) was represented by our Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl; European Paralympic Committee (EPC) by Head of Office Ms Saskia Kanfer; Youth section of the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO Youth) by Board Member Ms Gerda Katschinka; the European Gay & Lesbian Sports Federation (EGLSF) by its Co-President Ms Annette Wachter; joined by Ms Barbara Kolb from 100% Sport, with the main coordinator Ms Bettina Rulofs from the German Sport University Cologne also attending the meeting.

The partner reviewed the education materials produced within the project, and gave additional recommendations before final distribution. They furthermore defined dissemination activities also beyond the project’s timeline which concludes end of June.

Voices for truth and dignity – combatting sexual violence in European Sport through the voices of those affected (VOICE) is a two-and-a-half year project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, giving emphasis on the voices to survivors of sexual violence and abuse in sport.
