University sport official up for IOC member

The Polish Olympic Committee has nominated Mr Marian Dymalski, its Steering Committee member, as a candidate for the post of the International Olympic Committee member.

Mr Dymalski is a Vice-President of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and a Vice-President of the University Sports Association of Poland (AZS), which has always been a very active member of EUSA. EUSA supports his candidature to the IOC, while FISU has also confirmed their support for the position.

Mr Dymalski played a key role in founding EUSA back in 1999 and with his great support, Poland has since been a reliable partner for many EUSA events. This is proven by the title of the best National University Sport Association, the hosting of numerous championships in the country as well as the organisation of the upcoming European Universities Games 2022 in Lodz.

Mr Dymalski has been our partner and dear friend, and EUSA is pleased with this nomination. The organisation hopes for a positive outcome in the elections for the International Olympic Committee membership.
