We are pleased to announce that the 25th edition of the International Student Christmas Tournament in Dubrovnik was successfully concluded, organised under the patronage of EUSA.

The competition was held from 15-18 of December, organized by the Dubrovnik University Sports Association, with the co-organizing hand of the Student centre Dubrovnik, Student Union of Dubrovnik, University of Dubrovnik and Croatian Academic Sports Federation. This tournament is one of the sports events organised under the patronage of the European University Sport Association (EUSA).

The student-athletes competed in men's basketball and women's volleyball, having 8 basketball teams and 6 volleyball teams competing in 3 sports halls, around Dubrovnik.
The tournament lasted 3 days, including the opening ceremony, the matches, closing ceremony, and entertainment programs. The opening ceremony was held on 15.12. in which our VIP guests and the Organizational Committee welcomed the teams.

As result of the tournament matches in Basketball the first three places on the winner’s podium were reserved for:  University of Dubrovnik (CRO) on the first position, University of Bucharest (ROM) on the second place and University of Zadar (CRO) on the third place.

The gold medal in the tournament of Volleyball went with University of Prishtina (KOS), the silver medal went in the hands of University of Osijek (CRO) and the bronze was earned by University of Bucharest (ROM). 

The official conclusion of the Tournament was done with the closing ceremony, where also the medals and trophies were handed out to the most successful team, individuals, and Fair play teams.

Besides the tournament and the sports matches, our guests had available a free entrance to Dubrovnik's biggest tourist attraction, the City walls, while the teams had an opportunity to go on an organized city tour as well as to attend various social activities.
