Stakeholders meeting on Erasmus+ learning mobility for sport

An online stakeholders’ meeting on Erasmus+ mobility in the field of sport has been organised on December 2, focusing on the mobility preparatory actions in the field of sport, and the new mobility opportunities for sport staff.

After the introduction by the European Commission’s representatives, experience and lessons learnt from a preparatory action project in sport mobility have been presented by Mr Andrej Pisl from EUSA, introducing the project Supporting Mobility and Good Practice Exchange in University Sport (UNISPORT).

The overall aim of the project is to supports learning mobility and exchanges while promoting the international dimension of sport, targeting management of university sport in general, as well as organisation of sports events on national and international/European level.

Erasmus+ Key Actions for financing opportunities in the field of Sport

Following the case presentation, a wider discussion was held with the stakeholders, representatives of sports and other key organisations and institutions, on the new action within the Erasmus+ programme, which will feature learning mobility for sport staff.

The outcomes of the consultations will be taken into account in preparing the call in 2022, for actions and projects to start n 2023. Additional consultations are foreseen with the National agencies, European institutions, and partners stakeholders, to be carried out in the next 6 months.
