SHARE 2.0 Annual Conference 2025 held in Brussels
The second annual SHARE 2.0 Conference took place on September 11, 2025 in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the future of the European sport sector.
The event was organized by the European Commission and was opened by Georg Hausler, Director of Culture, Creativity and Sport at the European Commission. The conference provided a platform for members of the SHARE 2.0 initiative to exchange knowledge and best practices. The European University Sports Association (EUSA) was represented at the event by Andrej Pisl, EUSA Director of Projects and Policy.

The conference showcased the achievements of the SHARE 2.0 Communities of Practice in the areas of innovation, health, and green sport. One of the key highlights was a masterclass on the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence for sport organizations. Thematic sessions throughout the day explored the future of Health, Innovation, and Green Sport, and discussions were held on the continuation of the SHARE 2.0 initiative for the 2025-2027 period.

The event provided valuable networking opportunities for representatives from national, regional, and local administrations, sport organizations, federations and policy experts, fostering collaboration across the European sport sector. The conference was officially closed by Giorgio Guazzugli Marini, Head of the Sport Unit at DG EAC of the European Commission.
