RYSE partners meet to develop online platform and plan a conference

Rainbow Youth for Sporting Equality (RYSE) project partners met in Split, Croatia on December 13 and 14, 2019, working on an online education tool and planning a conference for a more inclusive and diverse youth sport.

Following the training for youth sports educators with whom implementation of project charter was tested, representatives of partner organisations met to start developing online training and planning a conference which will be hosted in Ljubljana in October next year.

Video production for the online tool

Part of the online tool will also be video material and personal experiences, therefore the meeting focused on that as well.

RYSE project focuses on improving experiences for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) young people in sport, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. It is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, and joins LEAP Sports Scotland (GBR), Queer Sport Split (CRO) and the EUSA Institute (SLO) in the consortium.
