The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) announced the selection results of the Erasmus+ Sport - Call for proposals; the Cooperation Partnerships, Small-Scale Partnerships, Capacity Building and Not-For-Profit European Sport Events. We are proud and happy to announce that two projects with the EUSA Institute as the coordinator have been selected for funding from the European Union, as well as two others where will be in the role of partners.

With centralised actions, European University Sports Association (EUSA) with its EUSA Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, was granted funding for two cooperation partnership projects, to be co-funded by the European Union:
"Step-Walk-Run - Supporting Togetherness and Engagement in Physical Walking and Running", targetting students in higher education and focusing on grassroot engagement in physical activity;
"TRACES - Traditional sports and games as Resources for Accessible Community and Physical Activity Experiences for Students," on combatting social isolation and recognising community-based traditional sports and games in university environments.

EUSA Institute will also partner in two other new projects, to be co-funded by the European Union:
"DualCarHer - Dual Career for Her: Women athletes in sport jobs," promoting education in and through sport while encouraging dual careers of athletes;
"InSport Press - An inclusive approach to sport press training", focusng on skills development and on inclusion and diversity in education, training, youth and sport.
In the highly competitive call, one project with EUSA Institute as a partner has additionally been placed on a reserve list.

We remain an active partner in several ongoing projects, supported by the European Union. We are proud to be able to continue our active contribution to the development of university sport and sport in general on the European level, also with the support of the European Union through the Erasmus+ and other programmes.
