PROGRESsing gender equality in sport

Partners of the Erasmus+-funded project PROmoting GendeR Equality in Sports – PROGRES met online on October 5, working on the promotion of gender equality and equal opportunities in sport.

The overall objective of the PROGRES project is to promote gender equality, encourage social inclusion and equal opportunities in the sports sector and specifically in football, by promoting gender mainstreaming within football federations and associations.

Agenda of the online meeting

PROGRES aims to improve the participation of women in the management and administration of football associations / federations and training employees of these organisations and stakeholders in project areas to identify the benefits of equal opportunities and adopt a gender-mainstreaming attitude promoting gender equality.

October partners' meeting

The project is led by the Malta Football Association (MLT), in cooperation of the Norwegian Football Federation (NOR) and Football Federation of Macedonia (MKD), with the support of other partners - Centrul FILIA (ROM), TREK (GRE), University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (ITA), and the EUSA Institute (SLO).
