Preparations on track for EUC Orienteering 2025

A recent control visit to Lodz, Poland, marked an important step forward in the preparations for the European Universities Orienteering Championship 2025.

The organizing committee, together with EUSA Technical Delegate Dusan Vystavel, reviewed key aspects of the event and confirmed several updates to improve logistics and the overall experience for participants.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, present during the inspection visits were: Lukasz Charuba – OC and National Orienteering Federation President; Beata Winczewska – OC Representative; Rafal Podzinski – OC Representative; Tadeusz Pilkowski – International Orienteering Federation Event Advisor.

The visit led to adjustments in the competition schedule and venue arrangements, with a focus on making the event more accessible and efficient for athletes. Technical matters such as course design and mapping were also discussed, with most areas progressing according to plan.

The official platform for event communication and results will be IOF Eventor, ensuring streamlined information access for teams and participants. Additional steps are being taken to gather relevant team details and finalize race logistics.

Overall, the visit confirmed steady progress and strong cooperation between all partners. The European Universities Orienteering Championship 2025 is on track to offer a well-organized and welcoming competition for university orienteers across Europe.
