The Polish city of Poznan will host the European Universities Basketball Championship in 2019, and end of November inspection visit was organised in preparation of the event prior to opening the registration in December.

EUSA Technical Delegate Mr Peter George visited Poznan on November 26 and 27, 2018. He was met by the Chairman of the Organising Committee Mr Tomasz Sponder, Event Sports Director Mr Tobiasz Nowacki, and also joined by Ms Joanna Wrobel from the OC office, Ms Emilia Ludsikowska responsible for Accomodation and Catering, Mr Piotr Kus, responsible for General Logistics and VIP and OC representative Mr Kacper Czarnota.



During the visit, sports venues, accommodation and catering was checked, along with operational and other organisational elements of the event.



Basketball is one of the sports first organised in EUSA back in 2001 (in Aveiro), and the experience of the organisers together with EUSA experience promises a great event next July.
