Goal

The competition took place at Zatoka Sportu sports hall and Malachowskiego sports hall, both are the sports venues of the European Universities Games Lodz 2022. The event was a great success in terms of organization as well as sport competition.  It was also one of the test events of the European Universities Games which will be held in July this year in Poland.

“We came to Łódź with an aim to qualify to the finals. However I saw that my team gets faster with every game. This is sport and I think that there were more teams that could win the tournament except for us and this makes me even more proud of my girls. From the organizational side the event went smoothly. It is very beneficial for the organizers to test themselves in various sports because the more experience before EUG 2022, the better,” concluded Mr Tomasz Aftanski, the coach of the winning team, University of Gdansk, and also EUSA Technical Delegate for Futsal.
