This years European Universities Games in Coimbra, as you already know, will host 13 different sports one of which is going to be also for students with dissabilities. After EUG in Zagreb and Rijeka we are happy to have para table tennis players.

Two years ago, on the 20th of July in Zagreb para table tennis competition began which announced new era of University sport. Daniel Lazov and Angela Muzinic won first two gold medals at para sport events organized by EUSA. The fact that Angela was also a part of Paraolympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, representing Croatia was an honor for us and the organizing comitee in general and an amazing start of the journey to include even more para athletes in the future.

Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to include para athletes at European Universities Championships last year but this year we continue to promote sport for people with dissabilities, to increase the number of sports and the number of athletes.

We are delighted to have para table tennis again at European Universities Games in Coimbra and to continue to promote that sport is for all and should be practised by everyone.
