New leadership elected at ADH General Assembly

The delegates of the 120th General Assembly of the German University Sports Federation (ADH) unanimously elected a new leadership duo: Ebba Koglin (Head of University Sports at Osnabruck University) and Dr. Arne Goring (Head of University Sports at the University of Gottingen) will jointly take over the chairmanship of the association’s board.

In light of profound changes within universities and society, Goring and Koglin aim to realign the association. They are committed to shared responsibility, joint leadership, and close coordination during this challenging phase of transformation.

As the new student board tandem, Hendrik Fliegel (University of Munster) and Paul Nentwig (FH/RWTH Aachen) succeed Dustin Rehder, who has left the board.

Koglin and Goring emphasize that the ADH is “at a turning point.” Given the big changes in universities and society, from digitalization and skilled-labor shortages to sustainability, internationalization, and diversity, a clear realignment of university sports and the ADH is necessary.

In 2025, the focus of their board work will particularly be on the ongoing structural and strategic processes, the restructuring of the central office, and the further development of the association’s internal communication and decision-making pathways.
