May EUSA Supervision Commission visit to Coimbra

EUSA Supervision Commission visited Coimbra, host city of the European Universities Games 2018 (EUG2018) on May 6 and 7, overseeing the Games' progress, and also preparing for the NUSA coordination meeting, which will be held in Coimbra in the following days.

The Supervision Commission was lead by EUSA Executive Committee member Mr Dmitry Kiselev and Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, composed also by Sports Manager Mr Besim Aliti, Education & Development Manager Ms Sara Rozman, Communications & Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl and the Chair of the Medical Commission Ms Abosede Ajayi.

On behalf of the Organising Committee, the EUSA delegation was welcomed by EUG2018 Secretary General Mr Mario Santos and the team, as well as the President of the Portuguese Academic Federation of University Sport (FADU) Mr Daniel Monteiro.

During the two days, the participants discussed the key topics, including the Games Organizational Structure, Human Resources, Offices and Equipment, the Rectors’ Conference and Educational Program, Sport, Volunteers, Medical, Catering, Accommodation, IT, Ceremonies and Protocol, Security, Transport, Communications and Media.
