Everything is ready for the start of the 1st European University Beach-Volleyball Championship, which will take place in Klagenfurt / AUT from June 16th-19th, 2004. The tournament will take place at the 4 beach volleyball courts of Klagenfurt's public beach front by the lake, the Wörthersee, and will be integrated into a popular sports festival of the area (Klagenfurter Sporttage) as its athletic highlight. 16 men teams and 12 women teams from 12 countries will participate in the EUC.
