iSport partners meet online

Partners of the Inclusion in Sport (iSport) project met online on January 24, for an update of the work carried out within the collaborative partnership initiative, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

The iSport Project looks to promote diversity and social inclusion in sport by enhancing the sporting experience of all participants – athletes and volunteers, especially targeting women, LGBT+ and people with disabilities – and promoting equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity through increased participation in, and equal access to, sport for all. Several events are planned to be carried out in the next 2 years, promoting inclusion in sport.

As due to Covid-19 pandemic most sports events by the partners were cancelled or postponed, project partners asked for an extension of the project, and in the meantime worked on administrative tasks, as well as gathering the information for the educational modules and interactive scenario-based tool ("serious game"), which will be developed as main iSport intellectual outputs.
