We are delighted to invite you to the 41st edition of the SELL Games, taking place between May 22 and 24, 2026, in Riga, Latvia.

Being one of the oldest and most prestigious student games in Europe, being held since 1923 and organised by the student organisations in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, the SELL Games welcomes student-athletes from across Europe and beyond. 

With the 2022 edition having been hosted in Riga, the SELL Games are now coming back to the city, promising another vibrant celebration of student sport.

The SELL Games not only unite student-athletes but also create an inspiring environment for young people who care about many things, among them education and sport. This event is a joyful gathering of like-minded people to share cultures and ideas.

The XLI SELL Games 2026 will include the following 14 sports: Athletics, 3x3 Basketball, 7x7 Football, Badminton, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Chess, Judo, Powerlifting, Padel, Orienteering, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Volleyball.

There are three deadlines for registration:

1. February 28, 2026 - General registration deadline
2. March 31, 2026 - Quantitative registration deadline
3. April 21, 2026 - Individual registration deadline

In 2026, the organising committee is the Latvian University Sports Federation (LUSF), who would like to ask everyone interested to fill in the form found on the following link: Participation Interest Form .

The SELL Games are held under the patronage of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and the European University Sports Association (EUSA).
