International Webinar for EWWS 2026

International Webinar for EWWS 2026

The European Week of Winter Sport (EWWS) 2026 is a major European initiative promoting sport, sustainability, and inclusion during the winter season.

Modelled after the European Week of Sport and the #BeActive campaign, the initiative focuses on activities related mainly to snow and ice. Besides getting people physically active and engaged in the wintertime, special emphasis is also on sustainability, inclusion, accessibility and community.

After a successful pilot edition in 2025, which brought together over 2000 participants at 36 events in 10 countries, the next edition of the European Week of Winter Sport will take place from 1 to 8 February 2026, involving schools, clubs, municipalities, and sport organizations across Europe.

We invite your organization, whether a school, sports club, municipality, or association, to become a key player and transition from local action to significant European visibility through the #BeActiveWinter campaign.

This is your opportunity to become part of the European Week of Winter Sport (EWWS) 2026, a significant European movement promoting sport, sustainability, and inclusion during the winter season. You can move from local action to European visibility by joining the #BeActiveWinter campaign.

To help you discover how to organize and register your local event for EWWS 2026, and learn about the visibility and communication support you will receive, an International Webinar is being held.

Join us online on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, from 10:00 – 11:30 CET via Zoom. The session will also cover available resources, toolkits, and guides, inspiring examples from the 2025 edition, and practical tips from European partners like L’ORMA (Italy), EUSA (Slovenia), and EPSI (Belgium).

By the end of the webinar, you will have everything you need to officially register your event, access the EWWS Toolkit, and join the growing European network of winter sport promoters.

Don't miss this chance to become part of a bigger European celebration of winter, movement, and community. Register by November 16th using this link.
