International Rowing Regatta Sveti Duje 2025
The 2025 International Regatta Sveti Duje was held in Split from May 9 to 11, marking its 23rd edition.
Continuing a long-standing tradition, the regatta once again brought together top university rowing teams from across Europe and beyond to compete in Split.
This event is proudly organized by the University of Split, Split Academic Sport Association, Croatian Academic Sport Federation, and Croatian Rowing Federation in collaboration with local partners and under the patronage of the European University Sports Association (EUSA).

With 22 university eights, 13 universities, forming a total number of approximately 300 competitors including legends and a packed program blending sport, tradition, and science, the event was once again unforgettable.
On May 9th, the 23rd edition of the International Rowing Regatta ‘Sveti Duje’ was officially opened in a relaxed, friendly, and enchanting setting at the Meštrović Gallery, where participants, guests, and attendees came together to celebrate.

On behalf of the European University Sports Association, present were President Adam Roczek, Secretary General Matjaz Pecovnik, and Director of Sports Events Liam Smith.
The opening ceremony offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere, highlighted by inspiring speeches and providing a wonderful opportunity for team representatives to connect, socialize, and get acquainted.
Saturday, the 10th of May, was the day when the International Rowing Regatta Sv. Duje officially kicked off the competition, starting with great qualification races and continuing with the amazing and exciting university eights finals.

The university's eight finals brought the champions and the top 3 in both men's and women's categories:
In the men’s category, the joy for winning the gold medal belonged to the University of Cambridge, while the silver medal went into the hands of the University of Oxford. The third place and the bronze medals were won by the rowers of Imperial College London.

The second competition day was reserved for the Race of the Legends, which saw rowers from Oxford, Cambridge, and Split. The winner of the Race of Legends this year were the Cambridge Legends, while the second and third place on the podium were taken by Split Legends and Oxford Legends.
