Gold Star of sporting merit awarded to FederCUSI

On the 294th National Council meeting of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), that took place at Foro Italico on 23 of February a special award in the field of university sport was awarded. 

At the occation, the President of CONI Mr Giovanni Malagò and the Secretary General Mr Carlo Mornati presented the Gold Star for sporting merit to the President of the Italian Federation of University Sport (FederCUSI) Mr Antonio Dima. 

“An acknowledgment of which I am particularly proud and which I want to share with the whole CUSI and CUS family by remembering my Maestro Lilli Coiana. In my forty-year career as a sports manager, the honors from CONI that I received have brought the signature of 4 different presidents, giants of the national and world sports world (Carraro, Pescante, Petrucci, Malagò): I am particularly happy that the gold star of sporting merit that I receive today bear the signature of Mr Giovanni Malagò who has done so much for the university sport movement”. - said Mr Antionio Dima.
