FVLA 2021 concluded

The second and final part of the FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy and Student Ambassadors Programme (FVLA) was held online between September 8 and 10, gathering students, leadership and volunteer experts, sport specialists and members of the International University Sports Federation.

126 participants from all over the world were able to enjoy the rich programme which included workshops, seminars on volunteering and leadership, sharing of sport best practices and event management, followed by presentations of FISU programmes.

Online sessions

After the official opening and welcome sessions, the content programme started, offering several topics, including leadership, volunteering, media, sports and educational events, scholarship opportunities, International Day of University Sport, FISU Student Ambassadors and Young Reporters Programme.

Team behind the FVLA

Two of the Hungarian participants - Sara and Marcell - graduated as FISU ambassadors, and also attended the EUSA General Assembly and the EUSA-FISU Strategic Dialogue, which was held in Budapest after the FVLA event, contributing to the work of the Hungarian federation as the FISU (and EUSA) member, as well as the European University Sports Association as the FISU Continental member.
