FISU online Executive Committee Meeting
The members of the Executive Committee convened online on 28 April to review FISU’s ongoing brand evolution and discuss concrete measures aimed at ensuring the highest safety standards across all events.
As student-athletes prepare for upcoming FISU competitions, the International University Sports Federation is also preparing for its next chapter through the development of a renewed positioning and visual identity. This transformation will support the organisation’s new strategic phase, set to begin following the General Assembly in January 2027.
The refreshed identity will reflect a broader transition from the federation itself to the wider world university sports movement. Designed to strengthen visibility and appeal among student-athletes, member federations, sponsors and the general public, the new direction introduces a more modern and dynamic image intended to inspire and engage the global university sports community.

One of the topics discussed on the Executive Committee Meeting was the goal of the federation to continue to focus on participant and spectator safety, competition integrity and its educational mission at every event. Supported by a dedicated specialist in these areas, FISU will maintain a flexible and responsive governance approach and, where necessary, adapt event and participation conditions.
Committed to shaping the future of the global university sports movement, the FISU Executive Committee will meet in person in Ulaanbaatar on 26-27 June.
