Final YIAP partners meeting held in Sweden

On February 28th, in Malmo, Sweden, the last transnational partners meeting of the Youth Integrity Ambassador Program (YIAP) took place, happening on the occasion of the YIAP Evaluation Course and Final Conference.

Representatives from ENGSO (SWE), ENGSO Youth (SWE), EUSA (SLO), Special Olympics Europe-Eurasia Foundation - SOEE (IRE), Portuguese Sport Confederation (POR), Lithuanian Sport Federation Union (LTU), Organisation for Sports Education - OPES (ITA) and RF- SISU Småland (SWE) were attending the meeting that was held in the Quality Mill Hotel.

The aim of this meeting was to cover a few important points: to do the final evaluation of the evaluation course results that took place two days before, to have an update on the projects results status and to go through the process of the final reporting and financial matters. 

Present coordinators, all involved in the development process of the YIAP project, stated many positive comments regarding the evaluation course, the idea behind, as well as pointed out the great results of the local activities and the challenges that came with it.

Good part of the discussion went also in sharing improvement ideas for future collaborations.

The partners went also through the status of the project results: the recommendations, toolkit, final video, and communications campaign.

Details regarding the final reporting and final financial matters, were also addressed.

The final partners meeting was concluded in a very positive atmosphere, taking a lot of pride in the results, as well as in the young ambassador’s involvement and contribution along the way.

Plans for continuation of the aim and idea of the project, with additional changes, is already in plan.

Funded by the Erasmus+ Youth Programme of the European Union, the project will run for a period of 24 months from May 2022 to April 2024. The YIAP project is led by the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO) with ENGSO Youth (SWE) and Swedish Sports Confederation (SWE), partnering with EUSA Institute (SLO), Special Olympics Europe-Eurasia Foundation - SOEE (IRL), RF-SISU Smäland (SWE), Portuguese Sport Confederation (POR), Lithuanian Union Of Sport Federation - LSFS (LTU), Organisation for Sports Education - OPES (ITA) and associating partners The European Lotteries.
