Festival on Mental Health in Koper
On Friday, May 23, the coastal town of Koper (Slovenia) hosted the third edition of the Festival on Mental Health, organized by the Slovenian National Institute for Public Health (NIJZ).
The event brought together numerous organizations dedicated to mental health, who showcased their work, services, and programmes to the public through interactive stands.
Representing the EUSA Office, Jan Hussu, an ESC Volunteer, took part in the festival. He engaged with various stakeholders and presented the importance of mental health in young athletes, highlighting the objectives and vision of the YouMind project.

YouMind (Youth Individual Sports Mindset) is a small-scale partnership project founded by the European Union that aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental health in sport and develop different strategies to prevent mental health issues for young athletes.

Alongside the exhibition, the festival also featured a range of workshops and lectures, offering a platform for public audiences and professionals to exchange ideas, experiences, and concerns on current mental health challenges and solutions.
