FADU elects new board for 2019-2021

André Reis, student at the University of Lisbon - School of Economics and Management (ISEG), is the new president-elect of FADU Portugal University Sport Federation, for 2019-2021, succeeding Daniel Monteiro.

Also the other board members were elected. We want to increase the number of athletes students with regular sports practice. Informal sport is a priority, to create new habits and to increase the weight of sport in young people's daily lives. Working with the other national sports federations is also a priority, in a logic of cooperation and convergence around Portuguese sport," said the new FADU President, without forgetting one of the latest FADU’s achievements.

"We will be aware to the implementation of the Student Athlete Statute, published in ‘Diário da República’ at the end of April. Now, all higher education institutions must effectively implement this status" he said.
