EWWS partners meet online evaluating the past season and getting ready for next one
On May 27, the European Week of Winter Sport (EWWS) project team gathered for an online coordination meeting, enabling the partners to reconnect, reflect and refocus on our shared mission.
This year saw the inaugural edition of the European Week of Winter Sport between February 1 and 8, featuring also the #BeActiveWinter campaign - inspired by the European Week of Sport and the #BeActive campaign.

Although the full summer is ahead of us, the project partners are already working hard to prepare and improve the European Week of Winter Sport in 2026, including the platform and digital tools, strengthening our partnerships and ensuring more winter events to be held across Europe in the next season, reflecting our values of sustainability, inclusion and community. The partners will meet in Berlin later in the year in September, to finalise the preparations for the next season of trainings and sports events.

EWWS is more than a project - it is a growing movement powered by people, ideas, and a shared belief in the power of sport to unite and inspire also in the winter period and also having sustainability in mind.
