The 2026 European Week of Sport will once again take place from September 23 to 30, encouraging individuals, universities, schools, clubs, and organisations to take part in activities promoting movement and wellbeing through sport. The launch of the 2026 #Beactive campaign remains fixed at June 23, Olympic Day, but this year will continue and include the European Winter Week of Winter Sports planned for February 2027.

During the seminar, organisers and communication partners also presented the campaign framework and promotional approach for 2026, outlining tools and materials which will support National Coordinating Bodies and partner organisations in delivering activities at local, national and international levels. A refreshed visual identity will enable stakeholders to begin preparing events, initiatives and promotional activities in advance of September’s celebrations.

As an official partner of the initiative, EUSA will continue supporting the European Week of Sport through the promotion of the #BeActive campaign across its activities, events, and communication channels. Special attention will once again be given to connecting the European Week of Sport with the International Day of University Sport through the #LetsIDUS campaign, encouraging universities and students across Europe to engage in active and inclusive celebrations. EUSA is particularly proud of having been involved from the beginning in the conceptualisation and development of the European Week of Winter Sports and welcomes with all favours its inclusion in an extended annual campaign.
