EUSA Winter Campus

November 2008 - March 2009: Dolomites, Italy

EUSA Winter Campus invites students from all over Europe to the region of Italian Dolomites, on the slopes of the Civetta mountain. The package of 6 days includes a full board, 5-day ski pass, accommodation, 2 hours of ski school per day, welcome drink and more.

The package prices start from 375 EUR / person on.

Ski Civetta is one of the districts of the Dolomiti Superski area, the biggest ski area of the world. Alleghe, Selva di Cadore, Palafavera and Valzoldana are the city centres that lie at the feet of Mount Civetta, all linked by a thick net of ski lifts. The area has about 90/100 km of ski slopes almost all covered with programmed snow, a guaranty for the snow season that starts at the end of November and continues until April. Through these years, Ski Civetta has reached a leading position inside the Dolomiti Superski area becoming one of the most favourite destination; this thanks to on-going transformations and to the most important lighting system for night skiing in Italy.

The ski school Civetta is an official F.I.S.I. Competition Centre and works since 1983 on Ski Civetta area thanks to a leading staff of trainers, ski instructors and former members of the National Ski Team. It cooperates with the experimental project of the Centre of Studies on Quality and Safety on the Mountain of University of Venice (IUAV). This ski school will give the university students technical and practical instruction on alpine skiing (in case on carving, snowboarding or mountain skiing). The lessons are held between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm and between 7 pm and 11 pm.
