EUYOUSPORT project meeting held in Rome
The partners of the European Youth and Sport Together (EUYOUSPORT) project convened in Rome on February 19th and 20th for their third transnational partners’ meeting, following an online meeting held in December.
Over the two-day meeting, partners presented the outcomes of activities implemented in their respective countries and exchanged best practices with a view to further replication. A key focus of the meeting was a progress review of one of the project’s core deliverables, coordinated by EUSA: a survey designed to assess the current state of youth participation in the governance of sports organisations across Europe. Launched in January, the survey prompted discussions on the next steps required to ensure the collection of diverse and representative data.

Sports clubs, associations, NGOs, federations and public authorities active across Europe are invited to participate in the survey, which aims to enhance understanding of youth participation mechanisms among European sports stakeholders. Partners and members are therefore kindly encouraged to dedicate approximately 15 minutes to completing the questionnaire. The project’s findings will support the sports sector by raising awareness and providing concrete, actionable strategies.
