EUSA welcomes EFPM Executive Committee and participates in General Assembly in Ljubljana

The office of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) and its Institute in Ljubljana hosted the Executive Committee members of the European Fair Play Movement (EFPM) on the morning of April 29, 2026.

Participants were welcomed by EUSA Director of Education & Operations / COO Sara Rozman and Director of Projects & Policy Andrej Pisl. The guests were introduced to EUSA's key activities, with a special focus on the integration of fair play values within the organisation.

EFPM members held their Executive Committee meeting at the EUSA HQ, where both organisations also welcomed Miroslav Cerar, former EFPM Vice-President, multiple Olympic, World and European Champion, EFPM Honorary Member and EUSA Order of Merit recipient.

In the afternoon, the European Fair Play Movement General Assembly was held in a hybrid format, hosted by the Slovenian Olympic Committee (OKS) at the Slovenian Olympic Educational Centre in Ljubljana.

Led by EFPM President Philippe Housiaux and Vice-President Robert Perc, the assembly confirmed reports and financial matters, accepted new associate and honorary members, and approved the action plan, budget, and amendments to the EFPM Statutes.

EUSA remains committed to the promotion of fair play on systematic, idealistic, and pragmatic levels. Through the European Sport Safeguarding Education and Promotion Action (ESSEPA) project, co-funded by the European Union, conducted in cooperation with EFPM and other partners, we are strengthening safeguarding in university sport, promoting safer environments, and improving ethical sport culture across Europe.
