EUSA Student Commission meeting held in Coimbra
European University Sports Associations (EUSA) organized a meeting of the Student Commission during the European Universities Games (EUG2018) in Coimbra. The topics of the meeting were the Volunteer Programme, My EUSA campaign, monthly student column What's Up, Networking possibillities for increasing awareness of EUSA among students and other topics.
The meeting was lead by the Chair Ms Anna Edes (HUN) and attended by members Mr Seit Demiri (SLO), Ms Katarzyna Czalej (POL), Mr Nikola Vincetic (CRO), Ms Esli de Kok (NED) and Mr Moritz Belman (GER) at the EUSA Headquarters in Coimbra. Parts of the meeting were also attended by EUSA Executive Committee member Mr Bill Thompson, Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl and intern Mr Nenad Ruzic.
Volunteer programme is the vital part of every EUSA event and during the meeting, Ms Edes shared the information regarding Volunteer programme at EUG2018 as well as the feedback of volunteers. The promotion and engagement of students to join EUSA events in the future was also discussed. The new and exciting campaign My EUSA was launched during the EUG2018, to raise awareness about University sports, and the discussion was about how to raise more awareness about the project.
What's Up column is the vital part of EUSA website and it lets students to speak up about their experience and challenges in the world of University sport. The goal of the Student Commission is to raise the interest among students to send their stories. Other initiatives and ides brought by the Student Commission members were also discussed as well as the activities for the important international days related to the activities of the Commission.
