The next European Universities Rugby 7's Championship is to be hosted in Orleans, France in June as the first EUSA sporting event in 2019. Last month the inspection visit was done by EUSA Technical Delegate, finalising the preparation for the event.

EUSA Technical Delegate for Rugby 7s Ms Veronika Muehlhofer visited Orleans November 6-7, where she was met by the representatives of the Organising Committee, lead by Mr Gerald Leux, as well as Mr Philippe Rebot and Mr Xavier Dung from the French University Sport Federation and other key people related to the organisation of the event.



Sport and accommodation venues were inspected, and other operational matters discussed. The organisers showed great attention to details, and are ready to host university teams from all over Europe at the event.



The participants will be welcomed in the historic center of Orleans for the opening ceremony, and the event will be organized in a top-grade sports facility. Cooperation with Rugby Europe is an addition signal of the high quality of the event.
