EUSA Presidency Handover
The European University Sports Association (EUSA) hosted the official presidency handover meeting, signifying the start of a new leadership term.
During the meeting, Adam Roczek formally handed over the presidency to Haris Pavletic.
The event was attended by Secretary General / CEO Matjaz Pecovnik and EUSA Treasurer Francis Cirianni.
The meeting opened with welcome addresses, during which Mr. Roczek reflected on the achievements of his term and expressed his gratitude to all partners and staff for their dedication and support. Mr. Pavletic, in turn, shared his vision for the upcoming term, highlighting the importance of teamwork, innovation, and strengthening EUSA’s role within the European and international university sports community.

Following the opening remarks, Mr Pecovnik delivered a comprehensive presentation covering key operational and strategic areas of EUSA. The presentation reviewed EUSA’s main activities in events and sports, education and projects, as well as legal matters, including registration and regulations. Financial aspects and operations were also discussed, alongside updates on the organizational structure, membership, and associated members, commissions, and the EUSA office.

Further focus was given to partnerships, including agreements and memoranda of understanding with key partners, as well as management and office coordination. The presentation concluded with an overview of the Development Strategy Realisation 2019–2025, outlining progress achieved and future perspectives.
The meeting concluded with the official handover of the presidency, symbolizing both appreciation for the achievements of the past and confidence in the future direction.
