EUSA opens Bidding for European Students Run 2027 and 2028

The European University Sports Association is pleased to announce that the bidding process for the European Students Run 2027 and 2028 is now open.

Following on from the successful Runners4all project, which concluded with the first edition of the European Students Run 2025, EUSA is pleased to inform you that you have the possibility to organise the event in 2027 and/or 2028!

EUSA is looking for pre-existing Marathon / Half Marathon / 10km running events to organise European student categories across 10km, 21km, and 42km distances for Men and Women.

Timeline and Deadlines:
- Letter of intention deadline is 01.09.2026
- Deadline for submission of the bid is 01.10.2026
- Payment of the attribution fee* is 01.10.2026
- Attribution of the ESR by 25.10.2026

*Fee to be refunded in case the candidate is not selected

For further information, please check the European Students Run Bidding Procedure document. Interested parties are invited to contact EUSA via email at sports@eusa.eu. As a first step, institutions interested in organising and hosting the European Students Run 2027 and/or 2028 are encouraged to get in touch and submit the Letter of Intention.
