EUSA Office welcomes a new Education Officer

The European University Sports Association (EUSA) and its Institute are happy to announce that Milia Molinie is joining the EUSA office in Ljubljana, Slovenia, as an Education Officer. She will primarily be responsible for working on two new projects co-funded by the European Union: European Sport Safeguarding Education and Promotion Action (ESSEPA) and Give Sport a Say. She will also assist the EUSA Education and Science Commission and work on other educational activities.

Milia, 28, from France, has been engaged in the governance of societal transitions since the start of her professional path. She entered the university environment committed to creating safe, inclusive and sustainable studying environments for communities. With a background in international cooperation, a binational Franco-Italian double master's, and a long-standing passion for sports, she chose to continue learning by joining EUSA as a European Solidarity Corps volunteer in 2024/2025.

During this period, she supported the Education and Projects Departments and contributed to the organisation of the European Universities Handball Championship in Covilha. This experience proved highly enriching and confirmed her interest in placing education at the forefront of large-scale sporting events. She sees sporting events as concrete educational settings, where connections, cooperation and encounters foster exchange, mutual understanding and European collaboration.

Milia expressed: “I love beginnings and new chapters, and I am deeply grateful to EUSA for the opportunity to join the team. Working every day with people from different countries is both inspiring and personally enriching, and I am eager to continue contributing to the growth of the EUSA community.”
