EUSA Office Strategy Meeting 2026
From January 28–30, the EUSA Office gathered at the Brdo Congress Centre in Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia, for a productive three-day internal strategy retreat.
The team utilised this time to evaluate the past year's milestones and align on key strategic objectives for 2026, in an intensive series of meetings focused on reviewing the accomplishments and collaboratively planning activities.
Staff took the time to reflect on shared successes and hurdles, using performance data to collectively identify where the team can lean in and improve for the future.

The programme combined strategic discussions with practical working sessions. Departments presented reviews of their 2025 activities and outlined concrete plans for 2026, followed by cross-departmental discussions focusing on cooperation, risk management, and internal process improvements.
Particular attention was given to governance, organisational structure, and communication standards, ensuring greater clarity in roles, decision-making, and day-to-day operations.

A dedicated educational workshop on Artificial Intelligence, facilitated by Enej Gradisek, further supported staff development, equipping the team with insights into emerging tools and their relevance for EUSA’s work.
These strategic discussions were complemented by team-building activities, such as #BeActive sessions in nature, which leveraged the relaxed setting to strengthen interdepartmental ties and communication.
