EUSA meets with Technical Delegates online

EUSA conducted a fruitful online Technical Delegates Coordination Meeting on Tuesday, December 1, as preparations continue for next year’s 2021 European Universities Games in Belgrade, Serbia.

The meeting gave an opportunity for EUSA to update the Technical Delegates on the association’s activities and processes involved in the build up to next year’s Games, which will take place from July 14-27, 2021.

Present in the meeting on behalf of EUSA was President Mr Adam Roczek, Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Technical Commission Chair Mr Joerg Foerster, Sports Manager Mr Besim Aliti, Assistant Sports Manager Mr Liam Smith and Sports Assistant Ms Lea Medvesek.

Organisational aspects regarding EUG2021 were presented by Mr Aliti, following which Ms Medvesek gave an update on registrations.

Mr Aliti then delivered an update regarding the 2022 European Universities Games taking place in Lodz, Poland before Mr Smith presented an update regarding the 2023 European Universities Championship programme.

COVID-19 protocol at next year’s Games was then discussed, followed by an open discussion to conclude the meeting.
