EUSA Internal Meetings in Ljubljana

Between 15th and 17th of December, two sets of important internal meetings took place at the EUSA Office in Ljubljana.

The meeting of the EUSA Institute Governing Council took place on 16th of December, with EUSA President Mr Adam Roczek, EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, EUSA Treasurer Mr Francis Cirianni, EUSA Executive Committee Member - Mr Milan Zvan, EUSA  Education and Development Manager Ms Sara Rozman and EUSA Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl. At the meeting, among the discussed topics were the activity reports for the pasr period and activity plan 2022-2023. The members of the Governing Council also reviewed and approved annual accounts of the EUSA Institute.
Discussion on EUSA projects
EUSA and its Institute are very active in the field of international cooperation and projects. Currently, there are several activities and projects, co-financed by the European Union through Erasmus+ Programme and European Solidarity Corps. Topics of the projects cover various fields, including Dual career, Equal opportunities and inclusion, Good governance, Skills development, Sustainability and Volunteering. Each of the current and upcoming projects have been presented and discussed in more details.

Discussion on EUSA projects

EUSA Institute is coordinating and/or hosting the following projects: Inclusion in Sport (iSport), European Universities Games (EUG2021/EUG2022), Enhancing sport organisations and management (ESOM), European Solidarity Corps (ESC) - Volunteering, Erasmus+ Internship. At the same time, we are partners in several other projects: Brand Value Alignment through Dual Career (BRAVA), Green Sports Hub Europe (GSHE), Work for a Cause, Serve for Sport (W4C), Micro Learning Entrepreneurship for Athletes (MLEA), Promoting Gender Equality in Sports (PROGRES), Innovating Football Leadership: Inclusion through Policy and Practice (iFlipp), United Forces to Support the Education of University Sport Community (Uni4S), Be Volunteer, Be Fair (VOLFAIR), Future volunteers - Key to success is Generation Z (K2S-GenZ), Youth Integrity Ambassador Program (YIAP).

The second set of meetings was devoted to discussing the finances of the European University Sports Association (EUSA). The meeting was attended by the EUSA President, Treasurer and Secretary General. Realization of annual accounts, preparation of activity plan and budget for 2023, as well as modification of financial regulations were discussed. All of the agreed and decided will be also presented to the Executive Committee which meets online today.
