EUSA Institute Governing Council meets in Ljubljana
After a correspondence meeting in February, the EUSA Institute Governing Council met in person for its 2025 meeting in Ljubljana on November 7.
The meeting took place at the EUSA Office in Ljubljana, and hosted Adam Roczek, Francis Cirianni and Andrej Pisl as members of the Council, Matjaz Pecovnik as the Director, Katja Dolinsek Zajc as the Head of Finances. Haris Pavletic, the new EUSA President, attended part of the meeting as well.
After approving the agenda and minutes of the previous meetings, the council members approved the Activity Report and Annual Accounts 2024, as well as the Activity Plan and Provisional Budget 2025.

In 2024 and 2025, EUSA Institute was engaged in 15 projects, co-funded by the European Union, out of which it has led 9.
Each of the projects was also presented at the meeting in more detail, grouped into the following topics:
• Good Governance: Enhancing sport organisations and management (ESOM); Discovering university sport and supporting dual career (DiscoverU); Youth Integrity Ambassador Program (YIAP); Future links for University athletes with Sports clubs Integrating Organised Networks (FUSION); European Youth and Sport Together (EUYouSport)
• Mental and Physical Health: Youth Individual Sports Mindset (YouMind); Runners For All - European Students Run (Runners4All)
• Skills Development: Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges & Youth Workers Mobilities 2024 & 2025; Erasmus+ Internships 2024 & 2025
• Sustainability: Fit For Green (Fit4Green); European Week of Winter Sport (EWWS)
• Volunteering: European Solidarity Corps (ESC) 2024 & 2025

This was the last meeting of the council in the current mandate; members for the new mandate will be appointed at the beginning of the next year. An online meeting is foreseen to be held in February, followed by an in-person meeting in Slovenia in March 2026.

EUSA Institute is a Slovenian non-profit non-governmental entity, created by the European University Sports Association (EUSA) for the purposes of developing university sports, organising sports events, carrying out sports activities and projects and providing education in sports at the university level.
