EUSA Health and Wellbeing Council meets during EUG 2026
The EUSA Health and Wellbeing Council held its live meeting during the European Universities Games 2026 in Salerno, bringing together Council members to review health and welfare arrangements across the event.
The EUSA Health and Wellbeing Council convened for its first live meeting during the European Universities Games 2026 in Salerno, bringing together Chair Ulrike Kallenburg and Council members Sam Bell-Minogue and Igor Spasic, alongside Secretary of the Council, Liam Smith.

In addition to the meeting, the Council carried out a series of operational visits, inspecting catering services, breakfast facilities, medical rooms and competition venues to assess the conditions provided for participants. The members also attended General Technical Meetings and visited sports venues to observe the implementation of health and wellbeing standards throughout the Games.
The meeting formed part of the Council's ongoing commitment to supporting safe, healthy and high-quality conditions for all athletes, officials and participants during EUSA events.
