EUSA Combat Sports meeting in Ljubljana

On May 22, a working meeting was held at the Office of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) in Ljubljana, focusing on the upcoming Combat Sports Championships that will be held end of July in Zagreb, Croatia.

The meeting was attended by Mr Davor Cipek, EUSA Technical Delegate for Karate and Croatian Karate Federation president, accompanied by his colleagues from the Federation - Mr Dario Keca, Board member and Mr Boris Ermenc, Technical Secretary.

The delegation was met by EUSA Sports Manager Mr Besim Aliti, Education & Development Manager Ms Sara Rozman, Assistant Sport Manager Mr Liam Smith and Sports Assistant Ms Lea Medvesek.

Working visit participants

The participants expressed their satisfaction with the preparations for the European Universities Combat Championships, and happy that Karate will surely reach record numbers in EUSA history.

Further cooperation with the European Karate Federation (EKF) was also discussed. EUSA is very satisfied with the support of EKF and we are looking forward to future cooperation. EKF confirmed the attendance at the EUSA Combat Championships 2019.
