EUSA attends OKS-ZSZ strategic and celebratory event

The Days of OKS-ZSZ 2025 event is dedicated to all member organisations of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia – Association of Sports Federations, which play a vital role in shaping successful sports stories across the country.

This two-day gathering focused on both strategic and practical discussions about the functioning of sports organisations, fostering collaboration and exchange of best practices within the Slovenian sports community.

The event started with the opening addresses from Franjo Bobinac, President of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia, and Matjaz Han, Minister of Economy, Tourism, and Sport.

The event was held in the coastal city of Portoroz, focusing on key issues shaping the future of Slovenian sport, featuring discussions on topics such as sport’s role in creating a better world, sport as preventive healthcare, connections between national and local sports organizations, integrity and safe environments in sport, and Olympic values for the future.

The gathering also included presentations of upcoming strategic documents, including the National Sports Programme 2026–2035 and the OKS-ZSZ Strategy 2025-2030, as well as the introduction of initiatives encouraging public engagement in sport.
