EUSA attends Key to Inclusion 2018

European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is a new EU initiative which creates opportunities for young people to volunteer or work in projects that benefit communities and people around Europe. Within this programme, an international seminar and partnership building activity Key to Inclusion was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia between December 2 and 6, 2018. European University Sports Association (EUSA) through its EUSA Institute was also represented at the event.

The aim of the activity was to encourage and support inclusive projects in the frame of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme and give an impetus for the creation of the European network of organizations interested in inclusive ESC projects.

Plenary sessions

The event, hosted by the Slovenian National Agency Movit, brought together 70 participants from 19 countries, including newcomers in the programme as well as experienced ones in mobility activities; all now focusing more on inclusion projects.

Discussions

Through diverse programme and working methods, the participants got to know more information about the new programme European Solidarity Corps, as well as the existing Erasmus+ and other opportunities, and worked more concretely on inclusive projects ideas.

Workshops

EUSA was represented at the event by its Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl. For more information about ESC, please see https://europa.eu/youth/solidarity/.
