On February 24, the annual sports awards, recognising the most successful athletes in Bosnia and Herzegovina of the previous season took place at the National Theatre in Sarajevo. EUSA President also attended the 74th awarding ceremony.

The event was organised by the Sports Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the participants were welcomed by the organisation’s President Mr Branislav Crnogorac.



Special guest was the president of the European University Sports Association Mr Adam Roczek, who also presented the award to Mr Harun Sadikovic, student of the University of Bihac, for the best Sportsman Student. Harun won a bronze medal in Judo (+100kg) at the 2018 European Universities Games in Coimbra.



At the occasion of the event, Mr Crnogorac also presented a Plaque of Appreciation to Mr Roczek.



Among other recipients of the awards were Ms Larisa Ceric (judo) as best female athlete, Mr Ivan Klepic (karate) and Mr Mesud Pezer (athletics) as best male athletes, Mr Branislav Crnogorac (judo) as the best coach, and special awards were given to NBA basketball players Mr Dzanan Musa and Mr Jusuf Nurkic.
