EUSA and WFDF meet in Ljubljana

The European University Sports Association was pleased to welcome a representative from the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) for a one-day meeting at the EUSA Office in Ljubljana, Slovenia on Tuesday, June 29.

Present at the meeting on behalf of EUSA was Sports Manager Mr Miha Zvan, who met with Mr Volker Bernardi, Executive Director of WFDF.

The purpose of the meeting was to establish initial communication between the two organisations, with the potential to create an official partnership in future.

Following a presentation of EUSA and its activities, an introduction to Flying Disc Sports was given, after which discussions surrounding the potential to include flying disc sports such as frisbee at future EUSA competitions was discussed.

Both parties agreed to explore further possibilities of formalising the relationship between the two federations, while agreeing to keep channels of communication open.
