Safeguarding in sport messages at sporte venues

Throughout the venues and events, we additionally promote the projects EUSA is and has been involved in, raising awareness on fair play, clean sport, safeguarding in sport, diversity and volunteering.

On the topic of equality the focus was given to the ENAcT and GETZ projects. Empowered Nation (ENAcT) is a 2-year project promoting gender equality in sport, launched in 2018. The project is led by the EUSA Institute and focuses on encouraging social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport, searching for a sustainable, long term strategic plan to enforce gender equality. The main aim of the Gender Equality Toolkit for generation Z (GETZ) project is to facilitate gender equality in sport leadership by educating and empowering Generation Z, to enable them to become the change agents and role models who can breakdown the gender stereotypes and gender barriers for future generations.

All participants – athletes, officials, as well as staff and others involved in EUSA events – need to respect EUSA Rules and Regulations, which also defines the Code of Conduct and Ethics / Disciplinary Protocol, promoting excellent behaviour and self-conduct, which are regularly associated with students, and encouraging students from across Europe to get to know each other, develop a greater understanding of each other’s culture and to enjoy fair and competitive sport.
